Just visited this lovely century home. Your host Joyce is a delight to speak with. The home is off the highway nestled on a quiet dead end street. Perfect for pets. Clean and well appointed. Definitely good value for your money. Stayner has many charming, quaint one-of-a-kind stores to visit. - Lee Ann Solski

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Coat N' Tails Inn for a week with a Cross Country ski team. As part of our meal package, Joyce made box lunches for us every day to suit each person's individual preferences. Our dinners were amazing and Joyce had a way of making them feel like they were Sunday family dinners, every night of the week. When it was time for dessert, there was much anticipation about what would be served each night. Mid day snacks were also provided and Joyce made an excellent banana loaf, which I especially liked. Even though we were a group of ten, we felt very comfortable in the Coat N' Tails, especially in the new dining room addition. We had plenty of room to move around the house and to find privacy if it was needed. Joyce made sure we had all the amenities we needed such as the use of wireless internet, laundry service, free long distance calling and a heated shed for waxing skis. I highly recommend staying at the Coat N' Tails Inn, not only for a team, but also for couples and individuals. Joyce made every effort to make sure our team's stay was as comfortable as possible.

I very much enjoyed my stay at the Inn, while on a working weekend, teaching cross country skiing at a nearby ski area. After a cold day on the snow, to return to a hot bath, delicious dinner and clean, comfortable bed was heaven. Friendly host Joyce was attentive, yet not crowding. A special touch was having my car windows cleared of snow the next morning! I'll come back, and recommend to my skiing and animal loving friends!

My family has been to Coat n' Tails twice this winter to take in the great hospitality that this fine century home has to offer. After a busy day at the nearby choices of both cross country skiing and downhill, this quiet retreat is just what we needed to wind down our days. The rooms are very comfy, the bathrooms are spacious, there is lots to keep you occupied with reading, an in room movie, or just chatting in their lovely sitting area. Joyce creates a marvelous healthy dinner on request which can take a good part of the evening to savour! It's a good idea to have some physical activity to follow the next day as her breakfasts are equally as delicious and filling. This place is also an obvious choice to stay if you have a well mannered pet that will be well taken care of during the day. My friends and I are looking forward to some special events that Coat n' Tails may be planning in the future, so keep checking for some of the interesting offers that may come up at this great find in the Collingwood area. - Ann Tiidus, Waterloo, Ontario
